You may not be consciously aware of this fact, but your mind uses visualization all the time. Your subconscious mind creates pictures of possible outcomes before they happen, and determines how your future experiences may be affected. These visualizations in the mind impact the way our decisions are made, and how we take action. In the rest of this post, I am going to show you how to visualize effectively, so you will only manifest all the desires you want to see showing up in your life.
So stick with me, and read through everything carefully.
This process of visualizing is occurring behind the scenes, in your subconscious. You are probably not even consciously aware this visualizing process is going on all of the time. You only become conscious of knowing the visualized reality through experiencing whatever results are showing up in your life at the present moment.
I wrote a more in depth article sharing my thoughts about mindset, and the interaction of the conscious and subconscious mind … you can check that post out here.
The Importance of Visualizing
So, this means that what we are visualizing in our minds is very important, and is directly related to what is being created in our physical reality experiences.
The truth is this.
Your physical reality is first created in the subconscious mind through your imagination and visualization.
I could even make an argument that our physical experienced reality is only a shadow that follows the original reality, which is from what has already been visualized and imagined in our subconscious mind.
Think about it like this. Have you ever noticed something going on in your life, and you find yourself frustrated, and wondering how this could be happening to you?
If what I am saying is true, then what is happening to you already occurred from what you unknowingly visualized and imagined, and what is continuing to show up in your life is also a result from what you have already previously visualized and imagined …. knowingly, or unknowingly.
I am going to help you learn some visualization techniques so you will become more consciously aware of what you are creating, and know that life is happening for you, and not to you.
Time for Wading Boots?
I know this is sounding a little deep, and you may even be putting up a wall of denial to these ideas, but I am sharing a truth that will forever change how you experience life. This is why I asked you to stick with me, and read through everything carefully.
The tricky part about the subconscious and visualizing is that we are too often unknowingly, rather than knowingly producing outcomes.
With what I am going to share below, you will learn how to practice techniques of visualization that will impress desired outcomes onto your subconscious. By doing so, you will be actively, and knowingly creating a vision for your future physical reality.
Also know this.
If you choose to practice these techniques, trust the process, and have infinite patience. All paths necessary for achieving your desire will also be provided.
Knowing you do not need to ever again be caught unawares, wondering what is happening in your life, will result in a profound sense of peace and freedom.
Stay With Me …. Almost There
Your thoughts and beliefs guide all your choices. When you use techniques like visualization, it primes your senses and your mind to filter your perceptions in a certain way.
This makes you more aware of possibilities that might help you realize a goal, creates an emotional state that is necessary for motivation, and provides you with a reminder of the goal that you are trying to achieve.
Here are some effective visualization exercises that you can put into practice.
By so doing, you will become the person you desire be, be able to give more to others, and have all that you desire in life.
Write About Your Ideal Outcome
So, you have a goal in mind that is important to you. Sit down in a relaxed state, and think about what it would be like to accomplish this goal.
Ask yourself what exactly would be happening if everything were to come together, and your dream would become a reality right now? What would you look like? How would you feel? What would happen to others in your life?
Write this scene in as much detail as you can, describing it in the present tense, and implying that it is already fulfilled. Include details that use all the senses and include your emotional state upon realizing this goal.
Remember to spend time each day visualizing, imagining, and reading through your scene, meditating on this outcome, and focusing on your desire as already fulfilled right now.
Imagine a Conversation with Someone Else
In this exercise, you are again looking into the future, to a time when you have everything you want, and your dreams have become part of your lived experience.
You meet a friend at a restaurant who asks you how things are going in your life. Imagine and play out that conversation, telling your friend of all the fantastic things you have experienced, all the success that you are enjoying.
Talk to them about how it feels to attain your goals. Share your perspectives on what it took to get here. Having this type of imaginary conversation helps you envision a day when your dreams are real, and you have all you want.
Most importantly is visualizing your conversation in a way that implies you already have whatever you desired.
Act Like You Have Already Accomplished Your Goal
Instead of waiting for your dream to come true, start acting today like it already has. Acting as if you have realized your dream changes how you behave day to day, your reaction to others, and how you perceive the world.
Transforming how you look, speak, and think will also lead others to treat you as you see yourself to be, and changes how you see the world.
Visualization and mindset opens new possibilities for realizing your dreams and desires, and acting as if you already have all that you desire will bring about the achievement of your goals.
Surround Yourself with Images
Pictures are great reminders that help you stay focused and remind you of your goals. Find images that represent various aspects of your visualized future. Collect several and place them strategically around your environment at home and the office.
Every time you look at them, you will remember how you felt already accomplishing your goal, and remind you to stay the course.
Associate each picture with a specific word, phrase, or scenario that inspires you, and repeat that to yourself every time you look at the image.
My Final Thoughts – The Master Key
Remember to always visualize from the end of your desire fulfilled, and not just about what your desire is or will be. Enter imagination from a relaxed state … within your imagination, visualize and intensely feel your desire as already fulfilled. Do this by visualizing something that would imply you having already experienced the desire fulfilled in your physical reality.
As a simple example … Let’s assume you have a desire to hold a tennis ball.
While you are in a relaxed state, and have imaginatively visualized with intense feeling you are holding a tennis ball. (The something that implies your desire is fulfilled) Stay fixed in the imaginative state until you have achieved a feeling so intense within your imagining that it is as though you were feeling the tennis ball in your hand with your physical senses, and can visualize a physical reality experience of holding that tennis ball …. Boom! You have now created reality, and your subconscious mind must birth it into physical form.
Continue Going about your life, and in a span of time … as long as you maintain a persistent, unwavering state of belief in the desire already fulfilled… you will have a physical experience reality holding a tennis ball in your hand.
This is the Master Key to impressing desires upon your subconscious mind, and how to visualize effectively so you consciously manifest all desires.
